CoursePilot is a degree-planning workspace I built for students at The University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine. It brings a student's academic record, degree requirements, graduation plan, and timetable into one place, with support for Science & Technology, Social Sciences, Food & Agriculture, Humanities & Education, Law, and Sport.
From academic record to graduation plan
Students can import their unofficial transcript PDF, start with a new-student record, or explore a sample Computer Science student. Degree audits use the 2026/27 faculty handbooks to help students see how their courses fit their programme requirements.
A semester-by-semester roadmap connects that audit to the next steps toward graduation. The dashboard keeps earned credits, current courses, planned semesters, and outstanding decisions visible together.
A timetable that fits the plan
Timetable planning uses the official UWI timetable to help students arrange clash-free classes and export their schedule to Google Calendar. Course browsing and record management sit alongside the audit and roadmap so planning stays in one workspace.
Keep the record on the student's device
CoursePilot reads transcript imports in the browser and keeps the student's record on their device. The demo offers a way to try the planning workflow before bringing in a personal transcript.
It is an unofficial student tool; students should confirm their plan with their department and the faculty handbook.
